How much does it cost to start or run a restaurant?
Author: admin // Category: running a restauranthow much estimated would it cost to design/decorate, equipment such as tables, plates, glasses, average wage for staff, making menus etc etc. Thanks for replies
The country would be in the UK
It depends tbh, you could buy cheap plates from the carboot or top or the range plates costing hundreds.
Are you planning to buy a shop? rent one? thats what costs alot, it could cost u hundreds of thousands!
Menus arnt that much to make, however I would worry about the kitchen equipment and you need A LOT of safety cerficates etc. I personally believe its a bad idea to start a resturant in a time like this.
I would personally buy a trailor for about £10,000 then do it up and go to events etc and sell burgers or something?

Follow your dream, don’t let cost deter you. You can fit out a restaurant with recycled materials from various places that specialize in shop equipment supplies. Staff may be a big item in the scenario of costs. Start small with a cafe then build more of a menu into it. Employ students and part time people to work there.
Ask an accountant or small business center for details.
